Welcome to the home of our Summer of Islandora Series!
This summer, we are running a three-month series of specialized Open Meetings called “The Summer of Islandora”. Each month we will be giving our regularly scheduled Open Meetings a theme featuring related demos & presentations from community members. Are you hooked?
What to Expect
Open Meetings are held on the last Tuesday of each month from 10:00 - 2:00pm Eastern online. The dates and themes for the Summer of Islandora sessions will be:
June 29th: Introduction to Islandora
July 27: A Deeper Dive
August 31: From Coast to Coast: Special Use Cases
Each session will include a number of presentations, as well as plenty of Q&A time for both general and institution-specific questions.
How to Attend
Registration is not required to attend! We just ask that you email firstname.lastname@example.org for a calendar invite or password for the zoom session.
Our Next Event - From Coast to Coast: Special Use Cases
When there’s a will, there’s a wave! This month we will be exploring spe-shell use cases of Islandora across our community. Join us to learn about Prototyping an Islandora "Lite", multilingual sites, using Islandora Workbench, and more!
We will also be holding our first Lightning Talk series, where community members will be sharing short Islandora project updates and demos for feedback.
